Unreasonable living conditions or am I being overdramatic?

I had this kind of trouble. My stepfather said I couldn't use the weed-eater because it ran the electric bill too high. I was not living amongst snakes and ticks, so to avoid further 'STUPID' demands. I invested $125, bought a car batter and inverter(My friend had a charger) TA DA! Power for me. He still bitched but I had power he couldn't control. And get ear-buds so your roommate can be ignored politely. You can't hear him. LOL! Good Luck.
