Monistat is tough to insert?

I have a yeast infection and I am using Monistat to cure it, but the applicator tube is really tough to put in!! I thought it'd be simple, like a tampon, but it doesn't have a rounded tip, which makes it tough! ): Are there any recommendations for easing this thing in? I don't wanna cram anything up there!
